I Didn't Have It All Figured Out When I Started
When I first started building TopHealth, I had one thing: a clear vision.
I wanted to create a powerful platform for thought leaders in healthcare. A place where providers, founders, and healthcare companies could share their voice and reach the people they care about. A new marketing channel for healthcare!
But if I’m being honest…
I had no idea how I was going to make money.
I didn’t know what the product would be.
I didn’t have a fancy business model.
All I had was a tiny glimpse of what it could become.
So I did the only thing I knew how to do:
I started with what I had.
🎙️ On July 1st, 2024, I launched my own podcast: The Uprising Show.
No big plans. No clients. Just a mic and a dream.
In those early days, before selling anything, the podcast became my testing ground. I built. I shared. I learned. (And yes, I’ve been into marketing for 15+ years — but launching a new company? A whole new game.)
Fast forward to today:
30+ episodes recorded
53,000+ downloads
Listeners in 62 countries
Top 10% podcast globally
On the Apple Charts in 8 countries
But more important than any number?
The Uprising Show became my training ground.
It shaped the service we now offer to healthcare founders, providers, and companies.
Looking back, I’m grateful I didn’t wait until it was “perfect.”
Because the best way to build something big is simple:
Start small. Stay consistent. Gather feedback.
If you’re building something today and feel lost, it’s okay.
Clarity comes from action.
The path shows up when you start walking.

The Future Belongs to Domain Experts. Here’s Why.
For a long time, domain expertise was treated like a bonus.
Nice-to-have. Not must-have.
But that’s about to change — fast.
Thanks to AI, anyone can sound smart.
You don’t need to work in healthcare, finance, or tech to Google a few facts and sound knowledgeable. AI can hand you surface-level info in seconds.
But here’s the catch:
Surface-level won’t cut it anymore.
The people who will win tomorrow are the ones who live and breathe their field. The ones who know the pain points, the messy workflows, and the unspoken rules.
The deep domain experts.
And this shift is going to reshape two major things:
1. Hiring Will Change
Companies will look harder for people who already know the industry.
Generic knowledge is free now. Real expertise stands out.
2. New Niche Companies Will Rise
Founders who truly understand one world will build super-specific solutions.
They won’t try to serve everyone.
They’ll win by knowing their small corner better than anyone else.
Because in the AI era, it’s no longer about access to information.
It’s about depth.
It’s about expertise.
If you want to future-proof yourself:
Get deep. Get specific.
Become the expert nobody can replace.

Most Podcasts Don’t Fail Because They’re Bad. They Fail Because They Stop.
I’ve seen it again and again.
A new podcast launches.
The first few episodes? Amazing.
The excitement? Electric.
And then… life happens.
Work piles up.
Guests cancel.
Motivation fades.
And before you know it, the show quietly disappears.
It’s easy to forget just how consistent your favorite podcasters have been.
Joe Rogan has done over 2,000 episodes.
And guess what? He didn’t go viral right away.
He just. kept. showing. up.
Mel Robbins and Andrew Huberman have done almost 300 episodes each.
Lex Fridman and Alex Cooper have done almost 500 episodes each.
You don’t need fancy gear.
You don’t need a million followers.
You don’t even need the “perfect” guest.
However, you do need a strategy and a guiding roadmap that you are executing on.
You just need to keep going.
Show up.
Record.
Hit publish.
Every week.
Even when no one’s watching.
Even when it’s hard.
Because that’s how you build something real.
Consistency > Everything.
Play the long game.
You will leave everyone else behind.
Period.
