Hot Tips Inside: Skyrocket Your LinkedIn B2B Impact
+ A case against faster user acquisition for newsletters
Hello and welcome to the 110th edition of Fresh Salmon.
It is my pleasure to have you here, and if you would like to read past issues of the newsletter, please click here.
Now let's get started and explore something interesting that is really close to every B2B marketer’s heart - LinkedIn.
It's exciting to see how SaaS GTM strategies are shifting from push to pull, and LinkedIn is leading the way!
Some of the strategies that are thriving on LinkedIn for attracting qualified buyers currently are as follows:
1. Engage Wholeheartedly in Comments
For B2B companies, the magic begins in the comments section of LinkedIn posts.
Engage actively to create genuine connections. It's here, one thoughtful comment at a time, that your brand begins to shine.
When your community flourishes, you'll be able to transition these vibrant interactions off the platform at the right time.
Get immersed in the comments; this is where your tribe begins.
2. Create Content That Reflects Your Unique POV
Build captivating headlines and ensure every line leads to the next, creating a compelling journey for your readers.
Ensure you deliver a delightful dopamine rush with a clever twist.
Authenticity isn't just about being clever, but offering a unique perspective (POV ~ Point of View) that stands out.
With this unique POV, you attract clients by displaying a level of transparency unmatched by any other.
It took me years to find this sweet spot, and the journey is ongoing, but the engagement and trust it builds are worth every second.
Everyone is on a grind. It's a journey that we're all on together, navigating ups and downs together.
Building a community of learning and growth by sharing your successes and setbacks humanizes your brand.
It is your openness that attracts people to your business.
Tell your story, the good, the bad, and everything in between.
4. Encourage Team Participation
As more voices from your team resonate on LinkedIn, the broader your brand's reach will be.
Even though it may not be feasible for everyone to post, having a select few, especially leaders, consistently share insights and stories can significantly enhance your online presence.
Your brand's narrative will be enhanced and your digital footprint will be expanded with the presence of a variety of voices and perspectives.
5. Embrace Video Content
Utilizing video to humanize your brand is crucial in an era where every social platform is embracing it.
The use of videos fosters a sense of familiarity and trust more quickly than any other form of content.
By allowing your audience to see the faces behind the business, a deeper, more personal connection can be built.
I am currently on my own journey to embrace video more on LinkedIn, but the evidence is clear: videos capture attention, foster trust, and humanize your brand.

Let's harness the power of LinkedIn to drive our businesses forward with authenticity and innovation by transforming digital engagements into meaningful relationships.
Interesting Thing That I Read This Week
Very true.
The ease of user acquisition always has a higher level of implications on the quality of subscribers especially for a newsletter.
You have to always play the game of checks and balances to get it right. And that takes time.
