Breaking The Mold: How We Showcase The Promised Land

Show people the promised land + AI won't get you sales

Hola! You're reading Fresh Salmon, your favorite B2B marketing newsletter that will help you hone your marketing skills in just a few minutes.

Let's get started now. . . .

Show People The Promised Land

Today, I want to propose a radical shift in the way we showcase the promised land in B2B marketing. As the saying goes, "Show people the promised land, and they'll ask - 'show me the way.'" Yet merely understanding this idea is not enough. To truly captivate and guide our audience, we need to elevate our efforts and unleash our creativity.

When it comes to showcasing the promised land in B2B, case studies and webinars have been the go-to tools. Although these have merit, I believe we can do better. We must break free from the abysmal methods that have become the norm. To leave a lasting impression on our prospects, we need to put more effort and ingenuity into our marketing strategies.

B2B marketing is rapidly evolving. There is a shift from a "how" economy to a "who" economy in how buyers interact with brands. Traditionally, customers sought solutions to their problems by searching online for information. Now, they are seeking trusted peers to guide their decision-making. Our approach to showcasing the promised land must adapt to this changing landscape.

The traditional focus on a strategic narrative alone cannot achieve this. We must not only craft a compelling story but also think about how we deliver it. Engaging our prospects at a deeper level requires effective methods.

Create immersive experiences that transport your audience to the promised land. Think about how emerging technologies can help you visualize what your products and services can do. Putting your audience in control enables them to experience firsthand the transformative benefits of your solution.

We should also harness the influence of trusted peers in this era of connectivity and social networks. Focus on the "how" instead of the "what" by highlighting real-life success stories and collaborations. Engage your customers in the community and encourage them to share their experiences, insights, and best practices. Thus, you create a network of advocates who will not only show others the promised land but will also guide them there.

We need a paradigm shift in B2B marketing. We must go beyond the ordinary and embrace extraordinary ways of showcasing the promised land. Utilizing innovative technologies, creating immersive experiences, edutainment, and harnessing the power of trusted peers, we can captivate our audience and guide them.

Remember, it's not just about showing what the promised land is; it's about revealing how to get there. Let's reshape the B2B marketing landscape together.

AI Won’t Get You Sales

We often believe artificial intelligence alone holds the key to sales success in this AI-driven world. Let me tell you straight from the heart: AI won't get you sales. It is trust that matters most.

Your success depends on building strong relationships with your buyers and partners. Your sales will skyrocket when your customers are truly delighted with your products and services. Your own advocates become the driving force behind the success of your brand through word-of-mouth.

Please don't misunderstand me; AI has its place. Despite this AI frenzy, we should not forget the human touch. It's what makes us unique and keeps us connected. Sales growth is driven by genuine connections and trust.

It is important not to lose sight of our humanity amidst all the technological advancements. Our goal must be to keep it real and authentic. Build trust, foster relationships, and establish genuine connections to unlock sales success.

So, fellow marketers, let's not be carried away by AI. Don't underestimate the power of genuine human interaction, but embrace technology as well. Our industry relies on it.

Stay awesome, and let's keep it human!
